The Andy Warhol Museum is seeking an Assistant Registrar to assist the Registrar's department to facilitate an active exhibitions and loans program. The Assistant Registrar will aid the museum in caring for its collection by overseeing the packing and unpacking of works of art, checking inventory lists, and completing condition checks of objects. This position will be responsible for documentation relating to loans of collection material by processing local and long-term loans to the museum and assisting with shipping arrangements. The Assistant Registrar will also generally support the department by assisting with filing, correspondence, invoices and travel arrangements. International travel and occasional weekend/holiday work is required. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required with emphasis in art history or related degree. Minimum of two years’ experience working in a museum setting; volunteer work considered. Must have a valid US passport and be able to occasionally stand for long periods. Qualified candidates should be highly organized, proficient at using MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel), familiar with databases and data entry procedures.
