Neuro Kinetics, Inc. (NKI) is seeking an energetic and bright Production Technician to join our team. NKI is a small, advanced technology, medical device company currently focused on concussions and in the midst of exceptional growth.
The successful candidate will be emotionally mature, and an excellent craftsperson, electrical assembler and technical problem solver.
This position will be responsible for:
Assembling wiring harnesses;
Evaluating incoming electrical components for quality;
Supporting document control by ensuring production wiring designs are accurate (a plus if able to use CAD);
Supporting regular audits of manufacturing procedures for microsystems, electrical components and complete systems;
Performing microsystem and component testing including quality control testing;
Interfacing with, and supporting engineering, design, purchasing, accounting and any other members of the NKI team to ensure ongoing process and quality improvements, and timely shipments;
Maintaining timely and accurate records relating to production, inventory, specifications, and drawing quality and control;
Supporting regular cycle and hard counts for inventory;
Staying current on relevant technologies;
Professionally representing by knowledgably discussing NKI’s technology and products;
Actively using and sharing knowledge and experience to the benefit of fellow employees and customers
Proactively communicating with the responsible teammate(s) important cost concerns, or possible changes in production or delivery schedules;
Maintaining a neat and organized work space and inventory system for components;
Perpetuating a positive, professional, “team first,” “can do” attitude to get a job done both right and on time; and
Freely offering ideas for innovating procedures or enhancing production efficiencies.
NKI is a small, dynamic company with an excitingly large mission. The successful candidate will be required to take on other duties as assigned to support the future success of NKI.
The job will include travel to global customer locations to repair, install, calibrate, test or related work as directed. Travel is anticipated to be ~30% of one’s time.
