Our client, a leader in the health care industry, is hiring a Data Analyst. This position is responsible for obtaining, assessing, analyzing and presenting a wide variety of data from various sources throughout the organization. The Data Analyst understands how data is used and the implication on people, processes, and technology. The ideal candidate will have one or more years of experience.
Fields requests for data and analysis and effectively utilizes a variety of data sources, building and combining queries and extracts from data warehouses, database tables, spreadsheets, etc. to produce helpful information.
Understands requestors’ needs and goals and applies the most appropriate methodology to produce a deliverable that conveys information clearly and effectively facilitates decision making.
Uses technical expertise, speed, accuracy and creativity to produce deliverables that can be readily understood and used by employees at all levels.
Develops methods in which routine reports are available for designated individuals to run on their own.
Understands the dependencies of data from multiple systems and multiple departments and is able to make recommendations on the design and setup of the systems.
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in writing reports where the data resides in databases including SQL Server.
Must have a strong understanding of relational database concepts.
Experience with SQL Reporting Server and/or Crystal Reports desired – exposure to other reporting tools to demonstrate ability to learn new systems is also acceptable.
Prior experience with an Electronic Health Record, Accounting and HR Systems is a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required.
