Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Advancement Information Systems, the Senior Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly.
Specific responsibilities include:
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM. Work closely with various business teams to create and build functional operational support through the salesforce.com application.
Provide strategic consulting to end users with best practices and use of Salesforce application.
Mentor team members in implementing SF solutions.
Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts and templates. Manage and implement customization requests including creating workflow triggers, workflow alerts, automated email responses, etc.
Independently perform administration, development, testing, implementation, documentation and updating as it relates to the salesforce.com software and system administration.
Maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity. Ongoing system administration, including managing and maintaining multiple user roles, security settings, profiles, workflow rules and conduct regular security/configuration audits.
Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues in order to maintain an accurate and high quality database.
Collaborate with other technology team members to create and support data integration between Salesforce and other business systems.
Be a student of Salesforce and stay up-to-date on new Salesforce features to provide recommendations for process improvements and future integrations.
Perform related duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Bachelor's Degree with specialization in computer science, finance, accounting or business administration preferred;
At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce.com CRM application, with strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality;
Strong knowledge of SFDC data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements;
Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator Certification preferred;
Strong background implementing and supporting Sales and Service cloud; experience with Marketing and Wave Analytics are a plus;
Practical experience with SF development tools a plus (APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, SF Data Loader, etc.);
Ability to troubleshoot system, process and data issues; ability to think clearly under pressure;
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills;
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment;
Excellent oral, written communication and listening skills;
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks/priorities;
Good organizational skills and a strict attention to detail and proven ability to follow-through; and
