The Vice President of Client Experience is responsible for overseeing the professional services and operations departments and programs with responsibility for the overall performance and the delivery of services to meet specific customer requirements which ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Manage forecasts and communicate goals and objectives for the assigned teams
Work closely with business development executive and managers to develop plans to meet organizational objectives and provide support resources
Work closely with assigned departments to ensure organizational standards are being met and operational processes are efficient and in compliance with established standards and regulations
Ensure core expertise within departments is maintained and plans for future requirements are identified and executed
Ensure all projects are properly reviewed and approved prior to commitment
Ensure all projects are completed on time and to specification
Ensure procedures and processes are compliant with quality standards
Prepare departmental budget and manage in accordance with budget
Ensure optimal communication within departments
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and facilitate success of individual contributors and managers:
Ensure adequate staffing
Conduct effective one-on-one meetings
Manage and coach toward successful completion of goals and employee development plans
Conduct performance appraisals, identifying strengths and weaknesses and offering coaching in required areas
Provide coaching for managers and ensure the development of management and organizational skills within assigned departments
Ensure career paths are defined and communicated and exceptional employees are nurtured by the organization
Conduct pay reviews and bonus distributions
Conduct Performance Improvement Plans and terminations, if applicable
Identify and implement necessary training and follow-up
Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent years of experience, post graduate experience preferred
Fifteen or more years commercial experience in software and financial services, including software, business processes, and fundamental understanding of industry
Ten or more years leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a global, multicultural environment wherein diplomacy and a passion for diversity are paramount
Proven track record of successful software development and launch
Demonstrated direct or indirect project management experience
Experience managing cross functional teams of business professionals and engineers
Experience in setting and managing development and project budgets and finances
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must possess exceptional organization skills
Excellent verbal and written communications capabilities required
Thorough understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external contacts
Effective team management, written and oral communication skills
Ability to analyze problems and identify resolutions at a strategic and functional level
Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a wide audience, from technical staff to management, clients and coworkers
Ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, self-motivated willingness to take initiative
Confident, strategic thought leader with high level of humility
