The Human Resources Department at Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is seeking an HR assistant to provide administrative support for the Vice President of Human Resources as well as assist with general human resources functions with an emphasis on recruitment and employment. Serve as first point of contact for the HR department. Assist employees with tier 1 questions on employment, benefits, compensation, Dayforce and other systems, policies and all other questions as needed. Triage complicated question and inquiries to the appropriate HR specialist or component HR representative.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Requires Associate’s degree with minimum of two years of administrative experience, or equivalent combination of both education and experience. Human resources experience strongly preferred. Computer knowledge and aptitude with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential. Experience with human resources systems a plus. Requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong oral/written communication skills, excellent customer relations and interpersonal competencies, strong organizational and project management skills, ability to effectively handle confidential information, initiative, and ability to handle multiple tasks timely and accurately.
