Prequel Solutions is hiring a Talent Acquisition intern for the 2017 Fall semester. This internship will focus on assisting the Talent Acquisition team with sourcing and screening highly qualified candidates for open positions. The intern will develop their skills, whether they are entry level or experienced. Upon completion of this internship, there is potential for full-time employment.
- Sourcing candidates through a variety of methods such as: database mining, social networking, referrals and internet job/resume boards. - Screening resumes in preparation for conducting the initial phone interviews of candidates. - Phone screening of candidates meeting the requirements for all levels of Information Technology professionals for contract, contract-to-hire and permanent positions. - Working with the Applicant Tracking System and having the responsibility of using it accurately and consistently. - Developing and maintaining the career opportunities section on the Company’s website as well as any other industry or career websites, as needed. - Scheduling and assisting in the facilitation of the interview process and checking references as needed. - Actively participating in all staffing related activities and engaging in cross-functional projects. - Scheduling interviews and administering pre-employment background checks as needed - Other duties as needed
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing or Business Administration, or related field. - Possess and exhibit a strong and genuine interest in working with people and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization - Must work well with a team - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information - Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with MS Office Suite
