A.C. Coy, an IT staffing and solutions firm, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern for the 2018 Spring semester. The ideal candidate will be in their third or fourth year of a Bachelor's program and has an interest in the functioning of the talent acquisition and staffing industry. This internship will focus on assisting the team by sourcing and screening potential candidates for open positions. The Intern will gain experience in an office setting, while developing their specialized and professional skills. Upon completion of the internship, there is potential for full time employment. Responsibilities
• Sourcing candidates through a variety of methods, such as databases, social networking, referrals and internet job and resume boards • Screening resumes in preparation for conducting phone interviews with candidates • Phone screening the candidates that meet the requirements for open positions in the IT industry • Working with the Applicant Tracking System • Maintaining the career opportunities section on the Company’s website, as well as other industry job boards • Scheduling and assisting in the interview process, checking references, and administering pre-employment background checks as needed • Actively participating in all staffing related activities and engaging in cross-functional projects • Other duties as needed
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program related to Human Resources, Marketing or Business Administration • Exhibits a strong interest in communication with team members, clients, and candidates • Possesses the ability to interact with all levels of the organization • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information • Detail-oriented • Experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
