Working closely with Manager of Group Visits and Program Registration to support group tour, group outreach and program registration functions by answering customer inquiries concerning group tours, group outreach, and museum programs, processing group reservations and program registrations via the museum’s Siriusware admissions system, and providing exemplary customer service in completing these duties.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Requires an individual with customer service, verbal communication, organizational and data entry skills. Some familiarity with financial reporting, electronic communication and business, museum programming and computerized record keeping preferred. Sales and/or customer service experience strongly preferred. Ability to work at least one weekend day.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is primarily sedentary in nature, no special demands are required. Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is interested in candidates who, through their experience and collaborations, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the Carnegie Museums community.
