SUMMARY We are working with a growing manufacturer in Jefferson County, PA to identify a Project Manager. Our 100 year strong client has built a reputation for excellence in the traditional transportation and heavy equipment industries. But, with an eye for technology and innovation, this company has recently added to their product offering list and emerged as the U.S. leader of customized, specialty mass transit equipment and solutions. Reporting to the Director of Projects, the Project Manager is responsible for overall implementation of assigned projects as well as the management of customer communication, scheduling, project oversight, and all project related activities. Project Leads and Project Engineers are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Monitor project schedules and flow. • Manage and assist in the attainment of project goals. • Maintain a conscientious team work attitude to achieve manufacturing and company objectives. Facilitate continuous improvement and initiatives. • Establish, schedule, prioritize, and control project activities and objectives. • Initiate and maintain communication with customers. • Provide timely/accurate financial projections and pertinent communication to finance.
REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial. IT and CIS disciplines will not be pursued. • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a project related role required; transportation, rail, or heavy equipment preferred. • Experience in writing and interpreting technical specifications and requirements. • Experience utilizing Primavera or Microsoft Project. • Must be open to relocation to the Jefferson County area. • Must be authorized to permanently work in the U.S. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
