Responsible for processing products related to employment background screening applications. Accountable for working within client and credit reporting agency guidelines in order to provide minimal turnaround and high quality results on requests. Each request must be handled professionally and in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures. The position is fast-paced, requires tremendous attention to detail and the ability to work within a team environment is required.
Process searches in response to client pre-employment background screening requests
Searches and retrieves information from various sources related to an applicant’s history
Releases information and documents in accordance with the Public Information Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other applicable laws and procedures
Functions positively on a team
Ensure adherence to Guidelines, regulations and processes where applicable while exercising judgment and reasoning abilities in order to solve problems.
1 year of work experience that includes working in a team environment preferably in a data entry or internet research capacity
Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; able to read and interpret written information
