Human Resources/Safety Coordinator Human Resources Generalist Allison Park, PA 32 hours a week Salary Range: $18 - $25 hr, based on experience and skill set
Summary/Objective In conjunction with the President and Division Managers, the Human Resource Coordinator performs work of moderate difficulty in human resources, benefits administration, recruiting and safety administrative functions. Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports.

Benefits: 1. Administers all aspects of benefits plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations including healthcare plans and 401K. 2. Evaluate and recommend annual benefit plan changes to the President. Negotiate benefit premiums with carriers. 3. Processes required documents with insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. 4. Tracks enrollment eligibility for all benefits and provides orientation and processing 5. Provides required notifications to employees regarding healthcare plans, including enrollment updates and renewals, withholdings, COBRA, etc. 6. Reconciles benefits statements/invoices. 7. Answer employee requests and questions. 8. Distribute annual compliance notices. 9. Lead the negotiations with carriers for all renewals.
Talent Acquisition and Management: 1. Assists with personnel processing from recruitment, interview process, new hire and orientation and on-boarding. 2. Tracks status of candidates and manage HR processing and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process. 3. Completes all new hire forms and orientation process. 4. Prepares and maintain employee files through employee life cycle. 5. Submits online investigation requests and assist with new-employee background checks. 6. Ensures that all new employees are added to various spreadsheets (employee salaries, payroll hours, VSH & utilizations spreadsheets). 7. Review & approve contract employee invoices 8. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. 9. Assists with the preparation and tracking of the performance review process 10. Collaborate with supervisors/managers on discipline and termination procedures 11. Makes photocopies; mail, scan and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions, as needed. 12. Review and revise current Employee Handbook 13. Ensure the company maintains compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws 14. Create and maintain job descriptions 15. Maintains high standards of confidentiality in all aspects 16. Coordinate or deliver as needed HR related employee training.
Health and Safety 1. Maintain safety files and records 2. Coordinate random drug and alcohol testing 3. Injury/Accident claim reporting to insurance company 4. Maintain various OHSA logs 5. Maintain ISNet website with updates 6. Coordinate employee exams and monitoring
1. Bachelor degree preferred consider strong job-related experience 2. At least 3 year’s experience in supportive HR role 3. Strong MS Office Skills 4. Experience handling confidential and sensitive information 5. Strong customer service skills 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 7. Highly organized and efficient work style 8. Strong attention to detail 9. Demonstrated discretion and sound judgement 10. Safety administrative experienced desired
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. Occasion travel will be needed to visit staff in our Morgantown and Lewisburg, WV offices.
