We are currently in need of a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to assist in the development of software used in conjunction with life-saving medical devices.
We need an engineer to create, modify, and debug software for embedded applications; use debuggers and visual development environments tailored to the embedded device industry; test and document software for client applications; define requirements for architecture of complex designs; and lead teams on design reviews and other project activities.
We also need someone who is an analytical thinker, motivated by working as part of a terrific team, is great with people, and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
You must have:
a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering
5+ years of professional, related experience
experience with C/C++ and object-oriented programming concepts
knowledge of an RTOS and designing software for real-time systems
experience with board level electronics
experience with framework writing
knowledge of configuration management tools and requirements generation
It would be great if you also had:
familiarity with medical software (IEC 62304) or development in a regulated environment
