POSITION SUMMARY This position is to provide the LAN team and other IT areas with a secure working environment in which they can rely on accomplishing the tasks necessary to build the network. Providing this environment is key to allow multiple projects to function simultaneously and to smoothly transition from one project to the next.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Organize and manage inventory of IT equipment using Asset Manager - Receive incoming equipment and enter in Asset Manager accordingly - Relocate and assign proper relationships for equipment - Work closely with the Asset Management team and site coordinators from around the country to maintain processes for inventory tracking and other processes - Keep accurate records in Asset Manager for all equipment coming in or going out in order to comply with quarterly assessments of building inventory - Enforce lab/warehouse policies to assure everyone is familiar with the process/etiquette -Set up equipment on the network so team members can access remotely to configure for deployment - Create/coordinate shipments of equipment to and from Bayer sites or event sites to ensure team members have exactly what they need on site for a specific project - Have a working knowledge of current projects and tasks at hand to be able to provide quick assistance to any team member
Education Requirement(s): •Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
Skill & Competency Requirements: •3 to 5 years of experience in a related stock / warehouse position •Need to be able to lift boxes 40 to 50 lbs.
