This position is part of our Oracle EBS Development and Support Team. The Team supports various Oracle applications related to Financials, Purchasing and EAM. The ideal candidate will be looking for an entry level position as an Oracle Applications developer/analyst who can maintain and develop software on a Linux Platform. The candidate would also be expected to help maintain and support Oracle Third Party Partner software, including Noetix Views Reporting. Additional duties would include creating new reports or making changes to existing Noetix reports, user consultation and requirements gathering, and trouble-shooting problems with implemented reports.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Clear understanding and/or ability to learn Oracle EBS business functionality and process.
Writes, speaks, and presents clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and adjusts communication style to the audience by translating and articulating technical concepts to non-technical groups.
Experience (0 – 3 years) in reading and understanding of report writer software such as SAS, Cognos, Noetix.
Experience (0 – 3 years) in and understanding of SQL or similar database query languages.
Some exposure (0 – 3 years) or knowledge of financial software applications.
Experience (0 – 3 years) in using database query languages similar to SQL.
Experience (0 – 3 years) in using procedural languages similar to PLSQL.
Experience (0 – 3 years) as a Business Analyst.
At least two (2) years of systems analysis, programming or other IT experience.
Good understanding and experience working within a Linux/AIX development environment.
Experience supporting Oracle Applications and E-Business Suite of products software.
Experience working and adapting in an Agile environment.
Experience designing/developing within Oracle EBS Applications.
Experience with Noetix reporting using Global Views.
Two plus (2+) years designing/developing in PLSQL.
Experience in SAS, Cognos development.
Experience and understanding working within a Windows development environment.
Develop and Support various Financial Applications.
Adapt a clear understanding of current business process and help incorporate IT solutions accordingly.
Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the systems specifications.
Extensive Data Research, development in assigned technology, help determine business requirements, propose changes, develop migration and implementation plans, and may execute projects based on these activities.
Communicates design, functional, and technical specifications to development team.
Provides solution planning and estimating of programs and projects.
Complete tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion.
