RDX is seeking to fill the position of Systems Support Analyst. This is an entry-to-mid-level position with a solid foundation of knowledge across multiple specialties within Information Technology. This is a full-time position located in our Warrendale, PA office. This position includes limited travel between corporate offices and data centers, occasionally requiring overnight visits. The Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the corporate local area network and all attached equipment. Secondary responsibilities include assisting team members with application and remote connectivity needs.
Configures, installs, maintains, and monitors computer hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
Acts as primary resource for end user computer infrastructure configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
Acts as primary resource for virtual desktop infrastructure systems configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
Acts as primary resource for mobile communications device configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
Acts as primary resource for motion video monitoring systems with responsibilities including deployment, configuration and reporting.
Acts as primary resource for software as a service solutions.
Acts as primary resource for telecommunications system with responsibilities including end point deployment, conferencing configuration, user configuration, and vendor interaction.
Performs analysis of system needs and contributes to design of system architecture, integration, and installation.
Ensures adherence to SSAE16, PCI, and SOC 2 compliance objectives that pertain to system architecture, security, administration and change management procedures. Assists in related penetration testing and security audits as needed.
Evaluates local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
Provides guidance to internal departments.
Provide support for line of business products and services as needed.
Prepares and maintains documentation of system configurations.
Ability to provide rotating on-call coverage.
Maintain customer service as the first and foremost priority.
Able to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in the workplace.
Self-motivated individual, able to work independently or on a team.
Able to troubleshoot and research issues, using outside resources such as technical forums and knowledge bases that are available through the Internet.
Able to multi-task and work productively in a dynamic environment.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing to work an on-call rotation for off hours escalation.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Bachelors in Science (B. S.) in Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience, or two to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
