We are looking for a strong Business Development professional to lead our efforts in creating strategic relationships with enterprise accounts, as well as strategic partnerships to enhance our products. This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, passionate, hard-working, creative, team player with executive level sales skills and experience.
As one of the company’s two Directors of Business Development, you will be given sales and relationship management responsibility for certain named multi-site senior living providers. You may manage one or more strategic partnerships. You will also be responsible for quarterly sales and gross margin goals, as well as for laying the foundation for the company’s long term success with the relationships you manage. Note: The company’s Customer Success team will be responsible for implementing any sales that you make.
You will be part of a small Business Development team that works closely together in a collaborative fashion.
Essential Job Functions:
Become an expert in the senior living market, especially the issues faced by large multi-site providers.
Named accounts (likely will be 85-90% of your time in 2018)
Research your named accounts and develop a strategy for each one
Implement your strategy and track progress using Salesforce and other tools
Build relationships with key individuals at named accounts
Develop proposals, including ROI analysis, as necessary to win business
Be pleasantly persistent in moving opportunities forward
Partnerships (likely 5-10% of your time in 2018)
Evaluate potential partnerships in terms of the time costs vs. expected benefits
When a business relationship is beneficial, consummate and manage a win-win partnership arrangement
Team Membership (likely 5-10% of your time in 2018)
Work collaboratively with other team members, to help them achieve success
Provide insights into how to improve our products, service, and operations
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
