SUMMARY We are working with a software developer and service provider to identify the successful candidate to fill the role of a Sales Representative. This is a newly created role due to recent growth linked to new offerings.
Our client is expanding its sales force and is actively looking to hire a talented, tech-savvy sales professional who will drive revenue in lines of business that include online software sales, consulting, training and services. We are ideally looking for someone with strong software and services sales experience who is motivated to achieve / exceed goals consistently while maintaining strong relationships with prospects and customers. POSITION Responsibilities include: • Identify and qualify prospective customers and penetrate targeted prospects. • Serve as liaison between Clients, Support, Software and Administrative Services as needed; negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales. • Manage and maintain customer records in a CRM system. • Lead generation including prospecting and cold-calling. • Complete on-going sales training. • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the competition, industry knowledge, and trends. • Build close relationships of trust with existing and potential customers. • Be proactive in understanding customer needs, priorities, challenges, constraints and market trends. • Management of sales cycles within existing accounts, along with targeted net new accounts with the goal of meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. • Presentation development and delivery to all levels of customer management, for each phase of the sales process (including on-site meetings, web-ex meetings etc.). • Ability to travel as needed. • Collaborate with cross functionally ensuring successful business cycle; including but not limited to lead generation, key business drivers, proposal development, scope of work to contract negotiations. • Work with post-sales support teams to resolve business issues on existing service or open orders. • Responsible for completing reports.
REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales (preferably software solutions). • Successful history selling in a fast-paced environment. • Has a high-energy, positive attitude. • Works well in a collaborative teamwork environment. • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRM and lead generation tools. • Strong technical aptitude (familiarity with SaaS terminology helpful). • Proven successful track record of lead generation, funnel management, and revenue growth, in a B2B environment. • Great verbal and written communication skills with experience in phone and face-to-face sales. • Consultative or solutions selling training (Miller Heiman, Sandler, etc.).
