PRODUCT MANAGER – REVENUE (MULTIPLE OPENINGS) Duolingo, Inc. seeks a Product Manager – Revenue (multiple openings) to work in Pittsburgh, PA and to be responsible for: (i) determining pricing strategy and designing revenue generating strategies with in app purchases for Duolingo; (ii) creating monetization strategy for Duolingo with digital advertising; (iii) analyzing website usage data from web analytics platforms (Google Analytics and Mixpanel) to inform product decisions; (iv) monitoring and optimizing ad delivery from digital ad networks (Google Admob, Google Adsense and Facebook Audience Network); (v) preparing revenue forecasts for digital advertising revenue and supporting the preparation of profit and loss (P&L) forecasts; (vi) conducting user research and synthesizing findings to inform product launch and marketing strategy for monetization features; (vii) using statistical analysis to analyze feature usage data and inform product roadmap; (viii) overseeing weekly software development planning meetings and leading strategy for weekly engineering implementation goals; (ix) building partnerships with ad networks and mobile app stores; (x) coordinating revenue efforts with other teams/functions; and (xi) interviewing, hiring, and managing Associate PMs and PM interns.

Must possess a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
Must have one (1) year of experience managing product(s) in the digital advertising space. Experience must include one (1) year of: designing revenue generating strategies for mobile applications and/or software products; analyzing website usage data; creating monetization strategies in the digital industry; and preparing revenue forecasts for digital advertising.
Must know (from any completed university-level coursework, seminars, workshops, or realworld, hands-on experience): digital ad networks (Google Adsense, Google Admob or Facebook Audience Network); web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Omniture or Mixpanel); marketing and product launch strategies; marketing analytics and applied probability models in marketing; pricing strategies and policies; descriptive statistics and regression analyses; financial and managerial accounting; and corporate finance (including profit and loss (P&L) management).
