The Sales Engineer is a trusted advisor for presenting TrueCommerce solutions to clients during the sales process. As a member of this team, you will add value throughout the sales process in the areas of requirements analysis, solution development, and by conducting in-depth product demonstrations. The Sales Engineer is responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives while working in tandem with the Sales department. An ability to understand business process flows with strong technical and presentation skills is essential for success in this role.
Conduct prospect and customer discovery/business requirement calls and webinars
Develop, present, and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the Transaction Manager solution on a daily basis
Clearly articulate the benefits of TrueCommerce to all levels including "C" level executives
Design and maintain virtual machine configurations with applicable publisher configurations
Respond to RFI/RFP’s upon client request
Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal sales automation system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
Manage and prioritize sales opportunities
Provide input to cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect and customer requests and product enhancements as needed.
3+ years in a pre-sales, software integration, or implementation role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret technical requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with VMware or related technology
Exposure to common supply chain and accounting practices
Knowledge of sales process and pipeline management
5+ years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle for deals in CRM, ERP or e-Commerce applications preferred
Knowledge of EDI standards such as X12 or EDIFACT
Exceptional knowledge of flat file and XML mapping techniques
Familiarity with XPath and XQuery
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX/GP/ NAV, Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage X3, Infor Visual, NetSuite, or SAP Business One)
