Our Client, an international technology company headquartered in Pittsburgh, is currently seeking a seasoned Software Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate with have a strong track record of creating enterprise-level applications and working within a fast-paced Agile team. This one year contract assignment will be an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies at one of the region's top companies. Our Client is located 15 minutes West of downtown Pittsburgh and prefers local candidates who can interview in person and start immediately.
Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Actively engage in a high performance, agile team
Design, implement, test and document applications on a variety of platforms
Gather and analyze requirements from customers and domain experts
Design and analyze solutions, including domain modeling and design patterns
Lead and mentor other team-members within the team
Lead code inspections, reviews and other activities to ensure quality
B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field
7+ years professional software development experience
Micro services architecture and RESTful web services
Object-oriented design and analysis skills
Capable of implementing automation such as continuous integration and unit testing.
Patterns for enterprise software development
Understanding of standard enterprise application issues, including scalability, performance, reliability, data contention, availability, compatibility, etc.
Proficiency with the following technologies:
Spring frameworks such as Spring MVC, Spring Boot and Spring Integration
