Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business, digital/internet marketing or design, or other related discipline required: advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of marketing, corporate communications or product/content marketing experience required; 3-7 years of investment marketing experience preferred.
Minimum 3 - 4 years of web communications, email marketing or other digital marketing experience required (e.g., writing/developing email or web content, managing and designing campaigns and promotions).
Knowledge of general investment concepts required.
Strong knowledge of marketing campaigns, digital technologies, and how to use marketing programs to sell products and enhance branding required.
Strong knowledge of investment products, mutual funds, brokerage firms, banks, institutional or retail investors preferred.
Familiarity with MS Office applications required.
Previous experience using a web content management system and website analytics programs preferred.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar design program, and basic HTML preferred.
Consult and work with editorial, product, corporate communications, compliance and marketing staff to write and implement content for our digital properties. Integrate our digital strategy with traditional marketing and communications activities to ensure our digital presence drives the company’s brand, vision and goals.
Create and manage content for various web pages, including leveraging and “repurposing” thought leadership content such as white papers, investment commentaries, infographics and videos in multiple formats along with developing email and social media content from current events.
Input/upload, review, edit and approve content in web content management system as needed.
Identify and implement ideas for improving the placement, quality and/or cross-promotion of content on our corporate websites, as well as to test new media (where appropriate). Use competitive information, best practices and analytics data to gain insights and make recommendations on how to make our content more engaging.
Identify content gaps and potential sources and media for new content on corporate websites, whether in-house or through a third party. Help select and manage vendors where necessary.
Help to create the content strategy framework to be used in Federated’s email and marketing automation/lead scoring test programs.
Maintain brand standards for creating switcher ads and campaign pages. Work with design team to ensure our digital standards mesh with branding used in traditional media.
Support re-design and testing initiatives.
Maintain a comprehensive content calendar for the websites and digital properties.
Write and present marketing plans focused on digital strategies and tactics as needed for new, major corporate initiatives and product launches.
