Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree; business related field preferred
Two years’ experience in financial institutions required
Prior experience with and knowledge of settlements for fixed income and equity securities required
Experience with global settlements preferred
Mathematical skills required
PC skills required; solid knowledge of Excel preferred
Competence in Bloomberg, Charles River Order Management System, Omgeo Oasys/Central Trade Manager and/or Depository Trust Company applications preferred
Perform responsibilities for global and domestic settlement cycle processing, including: electronic and manual trade confirmation, web based settlement instructions maintenance, resolution of unmatched market trades, currency netting, fail trade tracking, resolution, reporting and claims management.
Complete responsibilities around derivative management (futures, swaps, options, currency forwards, non-deliverable forwards, short-selling), including: trade confirmation, trade communication, three way position reconciliation, daily market-to-market calculations and analysis, collateral monitoring and management, internal asset segregation, cash movement preparation and reporting.
Provide daily trade servicing, including: repurchase agreement collateral management, bank loan management, cash management and support, sweep re-investment and fluctuating funds investment processing, compliance and management reporting and variable rate reset maintenance and communication.
Monitor internal and external trade routing and delivery, including: trade delivery to custodians, record keepers and interest parties (swift, fax, flat file) and trade capture reporting generation, delivery and issue resolution.
Interact with Senior Settlement Analyst and Manager of Global Trading Operations regarding oversight and escalation of operational issues.
Work and communicate with all levels of the Trade Support Team, Traders, Portfolio Management, Operations and Technology.
