Our client, a Western Pennsylvania Healthcare Systems is actively seeking to hire a full time Senior Systems Analyst to investigate, document, and resolve system problems; test system updates, update dictionaries and user menus and produce reports to meet department needs. This role will also serve as a mentor to peers in the development of skills and assigned duties
Provide assistance in collection of internal/external data from various sources and systems.
Develop and maintain assigned systems.
Demonstrates expertise through documentation of the system and by leading, coordinating, and conducting training sessions on assigned system(s) to meet project goals.
Demonstrates willingness to take on additional duties/responsibilities as assigned to meet departmental or hospital wide need and provides positive outcome to same.
Assists in the development and enforcement of information related policies, procedures and standards to ensure the quality of data.
In response to identified problems, or as a result of monitoring assigned applications, investigates nature and source of problem in a timely manner.
Takes appropriate action to resolve problem by initiating intervention, contacting external resource, consulting colleague or referring problem to supervisor as appropriate.
Keeps abreast of current knowledge related to system enhancements through meetings, conferences and literature review and applies knowledge to improve system capabilities and performance.
Takes necessary measures to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction, system performance and outcomes (quality and financial).
Provides timely status updates to clients and managers/supervisors, including documentation according to established standards while maintaining patient and business confidentiality.
Acts as a liaison between departments to ensure their system and reporting needs are met.
Five years analyst experience.
Programming and healthcare EHR experience.
