We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to join our Materials team located at our corporate headquarters in Jefferson Hills, PA. KJLC is a growing global manufacturer and distributor of vacuum technology.
The Quality Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Materials Division quality management system globally. They will ensue that all areas of the division are complying with KJLC and customer requirements while also ensuring the quality system evolves with the division’s business needs.
Key Job Elements:
Implementation and compliance of appropriate certifications to support customer requirements and initiatives.
Establish methods and protocols for the collection of appropriate metrics and review thereof (per customer requirements) while driving continual improvement based on those requirements.
Design and implement quality controls, identifying and sealing gaps while establishing clear line of traceability throughout the process and requisite vendor processes.
Management of CARs/SCARs from initiation through long term corrective action implementation.
Direct global supply chain controls to develop and maintain a reliable supplier base through auditing, as well as, review and analysis of appropriate metrics.
Establish system and protocols for SPC collection and analysis.
Support and manage customer qualification and auditing activities.
Conduct and finalize quality contract negotiation and execution.
Manage corporate sustainability initiatives and environmental & “Corporate Social Responsibility” requirements via quality systems.
Training of quality processes and promotion of quality objectives and initiatives throughout the organization.

3 years supervisory experience
Six Sigma Green Belt
Strong working knowledge of quality certifications
Experience with audits and registrations
Internal auditing and auditor training
Strong management, communication and organizational skills
