We are seeking an experienced recruiting professional that possesses a robust hiring network for the hiring of intermediate to senior-level professionals within the research, engineering and management talent disciplines of the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning industry. This professional should also have demonstrated continued success in the sourcing as well as hiring of Software Engineering professionals. The goal of this position is to provide a highly-personalized outreach as well as interview experience in successfully converting uniquely talented, hard-to-find candidates into high-performing employees at Petuum.
As a Senior Recruiter, you will work with both our Talent Recruitment Manager as well as senior management team in order to create, refine, facilitate and execute on staffing strategies for our technical hiring. Successful candidates that warrant hiring consideration will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate sourcing, organization, verbal/written communication, multi-tasking, prioritization and continuously demonstrate a sense of urgency in their position.
Utilize your personal network as well as creative sourcing techniques in order to develop a robust pipeline of highly qualified professionals for current and future hiring needs.
Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our sourcing and hiring
Collaborate closely with our Talent Recruitment Manager in order to adhere to as well as execute upon the company’s hiring standards and candidate interview/selection process
Develop strong rapport with top ranked academic institutions, at the PhD level, within the studies of Computer Science, Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Language Technologies in order to hire top-tier talent within these fields of study
Utilize and maintain candidate data within the company’s applicant tracking system
Bachelors degree in business (or related field) or equivalent practical work experience.
5+ years of recruiting experience within high-tech organizations
Strong personal network of talented candidates in the Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing) as well as Software Engineering (Enterprise) industry
Experience in independently partnering with senior management on hiring initiatives and campus recruiting
Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
Data analysis and analytical experience
Strong knowledge base within the Artificial Intelligence as well as Software Engineering market
Diverse mix of staffing agency, start-up and corporate recruiting experience is strongly preferred
Experience working in a team-based environment
A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail
