Our Client located in the North Hills is hiring Help Desk Support Specialist. This is a contract position. Candidates must have experience in supporting hardware and software systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a person to grow their knowledge and skills.
Opens work tickets and manages support work-flows
Manages departmental communications
Fields incoming support requests by telephone, ticketing portal, and walk-ins
Maintains accurate and detailed problem records
Monitors equipment and responds to trouble alerts
Provisions and manages user accounts
Provide training to staff
Support Hardware & Software Platforms
Fulfill other duties and tasks assigned by supervisors
Knowledge of basic computer hardware support and repair.
Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows and Mac OS X
Extensive application support experience.
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT.
Experience interacting with customers is a plus.
Clean criminal background and ability to pass a drug screen
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems
