As the Financial Operations Associate, you are responsible for operational tasks within the order to cash cycle. The Financial Operations Associate works closely and effectively with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction in a team environment.
Review and understand new sales documentation for billing purpose
Create sales orders using NetSuite and assure proper Billing Schedule and Revenue Recognition Schedule and dates are entered
Leverage NetSuite to generate and send all client monthly and ad-hoc billings.
Key contact of internal customers and external customers for all things order to cash
Make collection calls by executing an active and considerate approach to clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
Send out past due letters in accordance with Net Health’s policies
Reconcile customer accounts using accounting system and spreadsheets
Resolve disputed accounts receivable items within limits established per Net Health’s credit and collection policies
Communicate with internal departments including Client Services, Sales, Development and Integration, to understand and resolve customer billing issues
Review and upload Tax Exempt Certificates into Avalara Cert Capture to assure sales tax compliance
Assist Team Lead with month-end revenue related financial reporting analysis
Post cash receipts to the Accounting system as backup when needed
Performs other duties as required by the department manager

Very detail oriented, strong organizations skills and ability to follow-through and finish projects
Practical and functioning knowledge of the principles of accounting, including but not limited to working knowledge of debits and credits
Ability to collect on accounts efficiently and in a professional manner following established policy and procedure
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite, especially managing and analyzing large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP software revenue recognition accounting rules a plus and/or willingness to learn and master the concepts
3 years:Experience in a similar role - financial order to cash operations
Experience in a high growth Software company is a plus
Experience with NetSuite a huge plus
