There is currently an opening for the 2018 Fall semester as a Talent Acquisition Intern at A.C. Coy, an IT staffing and solutions firm. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in their third or fourth year of a Bachelor's program and seeking to understand the talent acquisition and staffing industry. This internship will focus on assisting the team by sourcing and screening potential candidates for open positions. The Intern will gain professional experience in an office setting, while developing specialized and concrete skills. The potential opportunity of full time employment may be presented upon completion of the internship and exemplar performance.
Sourcing candidates through a variety of methods, such as databases, social networking, referrals and internet job and resume boards
Screening resumes in preparation for conducting phone interviews with candidates
Phone screening the candidates that meet the requirements for open positions in the IT industry
Utilizing the Applicant Tracking System
Maintaining the career opportunities section on the Company’s website, as well as other industry job boards
Scheduling and facilitating in the interview process, checking references, and administering pre-employment background checks as needed
Actively participating and contributing in all staffing related activities and engaging in cross-functional projects
Other duties as needed
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program related to Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications
Exhibits a strong interest in communication with team members, clients, and candidates
Possesses the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
