We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to join our Manufacturing team located at our Global headquarters in Jefferson Hills, PA. KJLC is a growing global manufacturer and distributor of vacuum technology.
The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best-in-class process, annual savings plans, and cost predictive analytics, requisition to purchase order processing, procurement training, supply chain management, and supplier diversity. This role requires interactions within the Machine Shop, Subcontractors, and Contract Analysts.

Provide leadership, manage, direct and integrate Supply Chain processes and procedures to target best-in-class
Provide leadership, manage, direct and integrate the annual savings plan process to benchmark best-in-class
Establish and monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems and qualifying new vendors
Day-to-day requisition to purchase order process
Coordinate with the Purchasing Department and the Global Supply Chain Manager to establish unified purchasing practices and training curriculum
Serve as principal point of contact and proactively provide support for Machine Shop, raw materials and subcontractors activities.
Create/maintain the material delivery schedule
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of purchasing experience in a Machine Shop environment
Knowledge of 300 series stainless steel.
Strong working knowledge of modern purchasing practices
Highly self-motivated, persistent and able to cope with the requirements of a fast paced environment
Proven ability to maintain long-term business relationships
Professional communication and strong organizational skills
Master’s degree or certification
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of Sourcing, Material Management / Logistics and Material Handling
Experience in comprehensive supply chain, planning, logistics, and manufacturing environments
Advance working knowledge of Supply Chain ERP modules and Microsoft Office suite
