SUMMARY We are currently working with a privately held growing company to identify a Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to work out of their Pittsburgh office (in the Robinson area). This is a direct hire, full time position offering a competitive base salary and full benefits package.
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator will perform the below duties. As this person learns and grows, there is opportunity for additional accounting duties to become part of their overall scope of responsibility, allowing them to advance within the company.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Entering Accounts Payable Invoices and ensuring any issues are investigated and resolved promptly • Employee Expense Reports • Customer Invoicing • Monthly Bank Reconciliations • Entering Weekly Time Sheets (Multiple companies) • Recording Deposits and handling the Banking • Accounts Receivable and ensuring any issues are investigated and resolved promptly • Month end Reporting • Tracks Employee Attendance • Filing
REQUIREMENTS • Accounting Knowledge and 3+ years of experience • Experience using QuickBooks • Proficient use of Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Customer Support / Service • Detail oriented and analytical in nature • Time Management Skills • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, credit check, and drug / alcohol screen
