Our client is looking for a Director of Digital Marketing.
This senior role on the digital media team, along with the digital media buyers reporting into it, will partner with the client services team and the Vice Presidents of client services and operations while achieving the following:
Be a thought leader (read: one of the best if not the best) in the following advertising platforms:
Google Adwords, inclusive of Google Display Network and YouTube
DoubleClick Bid Manager (Programmatic Display)
Additional Platforms as Needed: Twitter, Linkedin Yahoo Gemini, Pandora, AdRoll, etc.
Train and mentor junior members of the media buying team to continuously become better at using any and all of these platforms to achieve campaigns results that exceed our clients’ goals. Out of the gate, you will manage 3-5 media buyers.
Work with the AVP to establish and expand internal SOPs and best practices documentation, as well as a training curriculum to deliver this this content to our teams.
THIS JOB WILL NOT HAVE PRIMARY CONTACT TO ANY CLIENT. This is a job where you may be expected to participate on phone calls with client campaigns that you personally run or, if run by a very junior media buyer under your tutelage, to provide insights into campaign performance.
You will NOT be responsible for being the first to respond to clients. You will work with the client services team member assigned to the account and/or the VP in charge of the account.
You will NOT be responsible at all for sales or business development activities of any kind.
You MAY have to travel once per quarter for any Tier 1 campaign for our quarterly business reviews, but this is rare.
