This position serves to fulfill technical staffing requirements primarily in the Harrisburg area and will work closely with the business development staff to meet the recruiting operations’ delivery targets and aid in progressing company workforce initiatives.
This position is stationed in our Harrisburg office. It reports to the Director of Human Resources based in our Pittsburgh office and has dotted-line reporting to the on-site Director of Harrisburg Operations.
This position is an exempt position with a base salary and an incentive bonus structure.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
IT Recruiting Industry Experience
Timely and effectively fulfill IT staff augmentation requirements with qualified candidates that meet the client’s needs
Execute tactical items in a manner consistent with results orientation shown through key metric drivers (Example: Time to fill, Early Employee Retention, Placements, Margin)
Provide team support to fulfill these delivery targets – sharing knowledge with sales staff and operations staff in a geographically dispersed arrangement
Provide feedback and suggestions on existing recruiting department processes, procedures, and initiatives consistent with the results orientation of the Company’s vision
Leverage best practice knowledge to yield aggressive placement results and client retention among various sets of recruiting KPI metrics
Travel occasionally to client sites or other Sigma locations (<10% travel outside of Harrisburg area)
Develop and demonstrate value propositions to attract candidates through new avenues such as funnel pathways of non-traditional candidates to the Sigma Resources candidate real-time, available repository through non-traditional sourcing and relationship building with university programs, local public sector training programs, special interest groups, social recruiting mechanisms, professional associations, networking groups, and councils

This role is performed in an office with heavy computer and phone work that requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing – including frequent talking, hearing, writing, typing, reading, and comprehension. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms/hands.

IT Recruiting Industry Experience
Hold 3-5 years of experience in sourcing and recruiting with an IT staff augmentation business model
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet placement results
Demonstrated success in developing recruiting strategies using traditional and non-traditional sources
Strong working knowledge of technical recruiting terminology (Example: ASP, .NET, Java, C#)
Proven track record in placing technical positions with front line contributor success
Strong interviewing skills including identifying strengths, weaknesses, and personality traits
Demonstrated credibility and consultation methods in hiring practices and managing risks as they relate to basic employment law principles
General working knowledge and application of recruiting cycle data tracking and reporting in ATS, TMS, or AMS systems and social recruiting tools
