Questeq is seeking a PC Tech to support the operations within Heritage Valley Health System located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Responsible for both short term and long term projects varying in complexity and providing day to day first and second tier type support to customers across the enterprise for all desktop, laptop, tablet, server, applications, and other hardware. Responsibilities also include the installation and support of equipment and software necessary to meet the customer’s needs in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Also responsible for planning, installing, configuring and updating business/clinical application software as needed. Assists in the formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. The applicant must communicate well with top Information Systems management, functional area management, colleagues, consultants and/or users regarding status of specific projects and/or tasks. He/she will work well both independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science or an Associate Degree and equivalent experience of at least 2-3 years in an advanced technical environment.

Principal Accountabilities/Essential Functions
Studies current information flow problems and documents needs and issues as assigned.
Develops action plans for all assigned projects, including needs definition, resource requirements, dead-lines, and work schedules.
Promptly communicates project status with department heads and information systems personnel.
Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies and determines root cause on chronic or repeating support issues.
Develops hardware strategies and configuration alternatives to best meet customer needs.
Implements and coordinates network expansion and changes in cooperation with other IS resources.
Responsible for documentation related to position; updating tickets, project updates user or staff documentation.
Co-develops the training and user orientation required for network workstations with other IS staff.
Troubleshoots and resolves technology failures, documenting required changes.
Makes maintenance changes to existing server business/clinical applications.
Updates and maintains an accurate inventory of all existing network components (hardware/software/electronics), includes device details and locations and purpose of servers and workstations.
Responsible for managing multiple priorities including tickets, projects and other assigned tasks.
Provides backup helpdesk level 1 support/coverage when assigned.
Provide knowledge transfer to Helpdesk Specialists, customers or other IS staff members via documentation, face-to-face demonstration and training.
Participate on cross functional teams as needed.
Keeps current with technology trends and changes related to position
On-call responsibilities for after hour support as required.
Required to attend all project and staff meetings.
