All Lines/LANtek is seeking a Network Support Analyst is responsible for assisting in the analyzing, planning and implementation of hospital wide technology. You will be responsible for day-to-day network activities including diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of network issues. You will design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Assist in the diagnosis, trouble-shooting, and resolving of network systems problems so as to minimize down time of network applications and personnel.
Participate in the planning and installation of all LAN, WAN, and wireless network equipment and technologies.
Serve as an IT resource for network projects and activities to achieve optimal network performance and to insure compliance with existing Service Level Agreements.
Monitor the LAN, WAN, and wireless equipment to measure performance, identify deviations from existing service levels.
Analyze and solve problems on complex computer applications and systems for staff across all hospital departments: provides a wide range of in-depth technical assistance to departmental user support staff. Train and instruct support staff on new processes and initiatives.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network/system problems. Assist Network Analyst in replacing defective components as necessary
Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
Maintain positive daily working relationships with a proven ability to communicate effectively with internal departments essential to performance of duties, as well as a wide range of customers and vendors is required.
Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems as required by position. Share knowledge with members of staff to ensure total team understanding. Provide documentation as necessary to assist.
