The Director – Store Systems is responsible for the planning, execution, managing and supporting of the Enterprise Store Systems environment. This environment includes POS, In Store Mobile Devices, Credit and Debit services and any other application used to drive sales at the store level. The Director will leverage internal resources as well as service providers and must have experience delivering in this type of environment. This role will work closely with various business partners to design and deliver solutions to enable and drive the retail business and serve as a primary partner to various business units. The right candidate will have experience with technology transformation, large scale program management and budget management. Finally, this role will need to be highly skilled in communication, management and team building while possessing a Point of View regarding their areas of responsibility.
Essential Job Functions
Manage Day to Day support for the Enterprise Store Systems Environment
Partner with Service Desk to understand issues in the environment and provide long term solutions to drive down incidents/calls
Be a trusted advisor with Business Partners to ensure alignment on priority and timing of deliverables to drive business objectives. Ensure we are providing value and leverage with solutions we implement
Assist with the scope, design, development and implementation for Store System Projects
Develop, refine, and documentpolicies, processes and procedures including training.
Provide management and leadership to team and peers through relationship building and coaching.
Develop and Manage budget that ensures SLA’s are met while be fiscally responsible to the department and organization
10+ Years of experience supporting Retail Store Systems applications (POS, Mobile, Sales Audit, etc.) and 5+ years of resource management. Epicor experience preferred
Experience supporting enterprise environments of 500+ Retail locations.
Demonstrated ability to evolve and improve application/service offerings that align with company goals and deliver desired benefits. Familiar with SDLC methodologies
Strong track record of building highly effective teams that deliver consistent results
Experience in managing external Service Providers with success to achieve stated goals
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional role and deliver results consistent with customer expectations
Excellent verbal and written client communications skills required
Excellent Analytical and Problem solving skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and act as a Change Agent to ensure continual improvement in services delivered
Experience working in a collaborative and cross-functional environment with strength in building relationships within IT and with Business partners
