POSITION TITLE: RFP SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT: INSTITUTIONAL & ANALYTICAL SERVICES
Bachelor Degree in Communications, Business, English, Marketing or related field required
Two to five years progressive business experience required; or one year relevant Federated experience.
Experience coordinating and managing complex projects required
Familiarity with proposals, marketing and sales related business needs required
Understanding of investment management business preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products required
Understanding of Federated products and services preferred
Qvidian or other proposal software development program or application familiarity preferred
Review incoming RFP/RFIs/DDQs for requirements and assist in defining completion approach including reviewing with manager.
Manage RFP/RFI/DDQ assignments development and review process.
Develop written responses or edit existing responses as necessary for review by management.
Create special exhibits and charts as required to respond to client due diligence requests
Develop, share and attend to project schedule to ensure project goals are met in accordance with pre-determined timeframes. Work with and support others throughout the company to keep goals on track.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with subject matter experts and subject matter contacts.
Build knowledge of various products and other company-wide information over time as a means to enhance RFP/RFI/DDQ team productivity and response sophistication.
Provide ongoing input regarding process improvements.
Participate in other departmental proposal and due diligence projects as needed.
