Our client, a leader in the education industry, has an immediate need for a Junior Applications Developer. This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full-time permanent position. Ideal candidates must have at least three years of experience with C#, .Net and ASP.Net.
Responsible for supporting, developing, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting applications;
Ability to understand business processes and translate to technical design;
Ability to diagnose and resolve system related problems as they pertain to communication, configuration, or performance issues;
Ability to manage complex workload and shifting priorities;
Ability to develop and implement custom programs/workflow for enhancing the functionality of applications.
Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science or other relevant field or equivalent combination of training and experience;
Experience writing SQL queries and understanding relational database architectures and tools;
Experience in Agile software development such as Scrum Experience with software implementation/support in a Microsoft Windows environment;
Experience with an ORM, such as the Entity Framework, is preferred;
Experience with reporting and data analytical tools such as Microsoft SSRS/SSIS, Tableau, and Informatica ETL is desirable but not required.
