POSITION TITLE: ASSOCIATE HELP DESK COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: TSG – SERVICE SUPPORT
High school diploma or equivalent experience required
Bachelor degree in Computer or Information Science or Technical School degree preferred
Two to three years’ experience supporting the desktop environment, which includes experience with Microsoft products preferred (i.e. Windows XP and Windows 7 Desktop Operating Systems, Office, Visio)
Knowledge of MS Windows 7 OS, MS Office Suite, and Active Directory preferred
Working knowledge of HP Service Manager or comparable help desk tool preferred
Working knowledge of service management framework (e.g. ITIL) preferred
Perform telephone support for all calls coming into the service (help) desk
Ensure that all hardware and software related problems are identified, logged in the designated tracking system, and the appropriate people notified
Troubleshoot basic problems with supported systems and applications - identify, explain and resolve problems.
Perform level one and two software support and administration for third-party products.
Perform desk side support for problems that were not resolved over the phone.
Responsible for assisting in inventory related activities (e.g., versions, software, hardware, devices, etc.)
Adhere to and recommend improvements to the operational environment based on a working knowledge (e.g., jobs, schedule, hardware, software, etc.)
Generate documentation as requested
9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. shift
May be required to work other shifts: 7:00a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m., 12:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. (Overtime and off-hours support is required as scheduled)
Warrendale location -Warrendale, PA 15086 (May be required to work in other Federated locations)
