ORGANIZATION Health care network seeks a Customer Service Representative for the Ford City, PA central office. This person will assist new and existing patients, families and health care providers with their needs via phone and email.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Answering phones and email from patients, families and health care providers • Gathering and processing information for patient intake • Creating orders • Arranging and confirming deliveries or service • Resolving customer issues • Tracking orders and keeping patient updated on status • Performing insurance verification • Data entry and reporting • Assist other employees when needed
Regular work schedule of Monday - Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.. Pays $12.00 an hour. This is a long term position that may lead to hire for the right person.
REQUIREMENTS • Excellent customer service skills and strong phone skills • Two years of experience in a similar customer service or office role. A medical office background would be helpful • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Calm and able to think clearly • Ability to come up with solutions and resolve conflicts • Attention to detail • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects • Be able to set and meet goals in a fast pace environment • Accurate data entry skills and ability to learn specialized computer software • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills • Ability to make calculations using a calculator • Compliance to company, state and federal regulations • Ability to learn and understand insurance company guidelines and processes • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
