SUMMARY We are working with a growing Northwestern PA manufacturer to identify an Electrical Engineer. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer will research, develop, and design electrical engineering systems and services for components and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsibilities include: • Engineer and design new products from initial planning to production. • Provide and perform engineering assistance for field service problems. • Perform inspections on product components and assemblies. • Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD. • Participate in engineering projects and engineering meetings. • Assist in the investigation and analysis of new material and engineering practices. • Edit and construct technical data for operation, maintenance and parts manuals. • Create and organize complete bill of material for purchasing department.

REQUIREMENTS • Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience in transportation or heavy equipment. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Associate Electrical Engineering degrees may be considered in combination with 12 years of manufacturing experience. • Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting and Solid Modeling (Solid Edge). • Must be open to relocation to the Jefferson County area.
