Software Developer II
As a Central Pharmacy team member, you will work hard with a team of engineers on delivering new innovation to the central pharmacies for health systems throughout the world. Our solutions help to drive better outcomes for patients by removing errors and automating tasks. Each day you will make an impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Works within the team to build product deliverables based on overall architecture direction
Works with a scrum team on providing quality and value to our customers
Works in an agile environment implementing moderate level code changes for specific requirements or applications
Works with an Agile Product Owner to understand project stories with an awareness of the team’s progress towards the project goals
Understands the drivers and requirements of the business and translates those into technology solutions
Participates in Scrum ceremonies such as story grooming activities and sprint planning
Develops structural and logical/algorithmic design with assistance from others
Creates unit, and functional tests to ensure coding is working as intended with minimal assistance
Troubleshoots moderately complex problems with existing or newly-developed software
Meets the definition of done and promotes coding standards.
Works with the team to continuously improve in development practices and process
Responsible for working on business critical products that operate 24/7/365 and are distributed nationwide to many clients
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Training:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; Master’s degree a plus.
2+ years experience in software engineering. Healthcare experience is a plus.
Good knowledge of agile development (especially Scrum and / or Kanban)
Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
Novice to Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills
Novice knowledge of the business drivers and processes pertaining to projects undertaken
Preferred experience with the following technologies:
3+ Years of Experience in C# and the .NET Framework
Understanding of HTTP and RESTful services
Design and implementation of software solutions
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
Able to help review code on the team
Working knowledge of computer databases and SQL Server
Technical writing, system documentation, design document-management skills
Object Oriented Development
