Software Developer III
As an IV Solutions team member, you will work hard with a team of engineers on delivering new innovation to the pharmacies for health systems throughout the world. Our solutions help to drive better outcomes for patients by removing errors and automating tasks. Each day you will make an impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (List essential responsibilities and duties)
Works within the team to build product deliverables based on overall architecture direction
Works in an agile environment implementing complex software for specific requirements or applications within a medical device environment, following validated processes.
Understands the drivers and requirements of the business and translates those into technology solutions
Drives and develops structural and logical/algorithmic design
Creates unit, functional, and integration testing environment or components and root cause analyses (replicate, debug) for moderate to complex features.
Meets the definition of Done and promotes coding standards.
Recommends improvements to the software delivery cycle to help remove waste and impediments for the team
Drives, promotes and measures team performance against defined goals.
Works with the team to continuously improve in development practices and process
Responsible for working on business critical products that operate with high reliability and are distributed nationwide to many clients
Troubleshoots complex problems with existing or newly-developed software
Mentoring and coaching of Software Engineers
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Training:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; Master’s degree a plus.
4+ years’ experience in software engineering. Medical Device software development experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of agile development (especially Scrumban or Kanban)
Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Intermediate knowledge of the business drivers and processes pertaining to projects undertaken
Understanding of industry best practices and process associated with software development
Preferred experience with the following technologies:
5+ Years of Experience developing realtime applications using C and C++, preferably in a Linux environment
3+ Years of experience in developing C# and asp.net applications
Understanding of HTTP and RESTful services
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
Able to help review code on the team
Working knowledge of computer databases, including ORACLE and SQL Server
Technical writing, system documentation, design document-management skills
Object Oriented Development
Software Development Patterns
You should mention if you have experience in Risk Management processes and standards (e.g. ISO 14971), as applied to software development
