Schedule – Night Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) – some Saturdays required when manufacturing runs six-day weeks, must be available to work additional hours during weeks when other Warehouse Supervisors are taking vacation
SUMMARY: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory management, warehouse safety and cleanliness, warehouse employees, warehouse equipment and company drivers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinate and manage all shipping and receiving requirements for the company. Maintain inventory accuracy through effective inventory procedures and product rotation. Maintain a safe and clean warehouse by meeting and exceeding FDA and OSHA regulations. Supervise, train and efficiently use warehouse employees. Manage all warehouse equipment including forklifts and radio frequency (RF) equipment. Coordinate the use of company shuttle and yard drivers to meet company needs. Provide status updates and monthly KPI data to Warehouse and Fleet Manager. Interface with production, customer service, quality control and transportation departments. Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations. All other duties as assigned.

WORK INSTRUCTIONS TO POSITION SOPs are critical to meet customer specifications and maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Operator’s manual available on each line.
WORK SAFETY Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority if unable to initiate action.
BACKUP COVERAGE In the absence of this position, the Warehouse Manager shall cover the absence.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PA Driver’s License. Successful completion of company forklift certification.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS As required to attend off site training and meetings as needed.
