Our client is seeking a Voice Communication Analyst. The primary role of the IT Resource will be to assist with daily operations. This will allow for the Senior Telecomm Analyst currently on the project, to be fully-engaged with a PBX conversion.
Respond & remediate service tickets
Dispatch to locations for service calls as needed
Install, configure, and troubleshoot telephone issues (Nortel, Spectralink, and various key systems within the ?Community Region)
Move/add/changes to the telephone systems; etc.
Skillsets and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and certification of Nortel telephone system preferred
Strong knowledge and certification of Avaya telephone system recommended
Experience with Spectralink phones
Experience with miscellaneous telephone systems – Partners, Toshiba, and NEC
Knowledge of industry cabling standards
Document telephone inventory
Update ticketing information
Update network and hardware configuration – if changes made for move / add / change / deletions
