The Technical Writer will produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and services. You will work collaboratively with developers, application engineers, scientists, sales, and web design experts to make our products easier to use, support and manage.
The Technical writer will deliver most content online, and using the interactive technologies of the Web to blend text, graphics, multidimensional images, sound, and video.
The Technical writer will create the framework with which the company employees will follow for internal documentation an communication methods such as intranet web portal.
Work with teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Create and maintain the information architecture
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
Standardize content across platforms and media
Assist in the development and maintenance of the company roadmap
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Technical Writing certificate or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a technical writer, editor, or content strategist, with a focus on API documentation.
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Start-up environment and knowledge of speech and/or data analytics desired
Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development methods such as Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban
Experience in developing Information architecture for end user documentation.
Proficiency in developing and publishing documentation with WordPress/Drupal or similar content management solutions
Experience with single-source/multi-output documentation tools such as RoboHelp, Madcap Flare, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience with image manipulator applications.
Analytical thinker, ability to identify and solve problems in a logical manner;
Strong work ethic and works well on small teams;
Strong imagination skills to be able to think about a procedure or product in the way that a person without technical experience would think about it.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Able to take complex, technical information and translate it for users who have nontechnical backgrounds
Create detailed instructions for others to follow. As a result, you must be detailed and precise at every step so that the instructions can be easily followed
Experience managing content, including coordinating with other teams
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps
Ability to gather information from disparate sources, grasp complex technical concepts and translate them to easily understandable content for audiences of varying technical expertise.
Ability to work as a bridge between multiple teams.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Initiative, drive, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to read/write HTML/CSS a plus
