SUMMARY We are working with a confidential company to identify a Field Service Engineer. Our client offers equipment sales, support, and services to manufacturing companies on a global level. Reporting directly into the General Manager, the Field Service Engineer is responsible for coordinating and providing technical oversight on installation projects, as well as, ongoing maintenance and repair projects. The Field Service Engineer is also responsible for ensuring work is done safely, efficiently, and with the highest customer focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES Technical • Support the sales, planning, scheduling, installation, maintenance, and repair of all products and equipment. • Provide customers with written quotes, CAD drawings, and technical information to ensure proper product selection. • Travel to customer sites to coordinate and perform new equipment installations; troubleshoot and oversee field solutions. • Provide ongoing maintenance and repair support on equipment and products; make technical recommendations for equipment improvements as needed. • Communicate with supervisor, office personnel and work crews on regular basis; liaise with design and manufacturing team. • Provide and maintain all documentation and technical reports needed; proposals, presentations, design reviews, project updates, customer communication, etc. Sales • Maintain relationships with existing, and research and develop new customers to promote sales growth. • Research and report on potential competitor information in sales areas. Safety and Training • Ensure that all employees are trained in accordance with company and safety training programs and initiatives; MSHA CFA and OSHA. • Assist in new hire onboarding; develop and facilitate product training and safety programs. • Adhere to and enforce all company policies and safety procedures and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS • BS required; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of technical field service experience. • Project coordination, lead, or management experience; new product/equipment installation preferred. • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical principals. • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings. • MSHA CFR 30 certification Parts 46 and 48 highly desirable; or required to obtain. • Required to achieve OSHA 10/30 training. • Travel to customer locations required; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
