We are currently looking for a Level III NDT Test Technician for a permanent position within our client base. This position is permanent and is based in Sarver, PA.
Under moderate supervision, maintain the high standards associated with the client, and perform the essential functions of the job.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Calibrate, standardize, set-up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
Conduct tests to ensure and detect discontinuities (indications) using applicable NDT methods of inspection
Follow &/or establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to PPE and safety regulations
Apply inspection criteria in accordance with applicable customer specifications or standards and evaluate results
Organize and report test results
Perform detailed instructions
May instruct and supervise others
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by Management
Other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work in a standing, sitting, or bent position for 10 hours/day and must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds with control. The employee must be able to raise arms above shoulders and maintain dexterity for extended periods of time and also use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and be able to stoop or kneel for excessive periods of time. The employee must be able to perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently around large industrial machinery, and the employee constantly works near moving mechanical parts that create a moderately high noise level.
Must pass company eye exam which will be included in the employment physical. (Note: depending on market segment employed (e.g. Aero), passing of eye exam (can be with corrections) may become a condition of employment.

Must be able to locate, diagnose and correct problems in equipment and systems utilizing test equipment and/or prior work experience.
Must possess knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Must be able to communicate through written, verbal, or other means of communication.
Under normal business conditions, must be able to work 50 hours per week, however, schedule will be adjusted according to business and operational needs.
Previous Experience / Educational Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
