ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Communicating scheduling-related data to project management staff, clients, and sub-contractors; •Engineering and construction project schedule maintenance and modifications; •Refining scheduling techniques and logic to increase project efficiency and profitability; •Assist marketing, estimating and engineering staffs in development of proposal and bid schedules; •Function as facilitator and expeditor throughout the plan and schedule development process; develop and implement the work breakdown structure, work item lists, construction timetable, and preliminary master schedule; •Identify significant schedule risks and opportunities; •Development of schedule reports consisting of all activities, with early and late dates and histograms and curves for manpower requirements; •Support of scheduling department functions that enhance the quality of overall company scheduling efforts, such as close out notices, historical project data sheets, historical project durations databases, manpower and/or cash loading information and procurement lead time data; •Implementing Earned Value Concepts. •Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related field required. •Minimum of five years related scheduling experience is required for this position. •Proficiency in Primavera or similar project management/scheduling software is also required. •Design/build project delivery experience desirable. •Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, the ability to track task progress and the ability to meet tight project deadlines. •Customer Focus •Collaboration Skills •Communication Proficiency •Time Management •Innovation •Ethical Conduct •Travel is required for this position lasting anywhere from a day to over a week depending on the location of the job site and the duties that need to be performed
