The HR Generalist is expected to:
Provide outsourced, consultative HR support onsite, by phone or email to Solutions Providers on behalf of clients or directly to clients.
Assist Solutions Providers with the following employee life cycle deliverables: talent acquisition, policies & procedures, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, employee engagement, organizational change and compliance.
Provide administrative support to Compass team including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, client files, expense tracking, inventory, mailings, copying/printing and other office-based needs.
Coordinate and participate in Compass business and marketing meetings or events. Assist with scheduling meetings for clients and Solutions Providers.
Maintain Compass contact lists and directories. Maintain internal records and compile reports as needed. Coordinate and maintain internal documents warehouse (virtual).
Support onboarding new clients and Solutions Providers. Services include, but are not limited to, processing RFPs, proposals, terms and conditions and other business-related documents.
Assist with Compass marketing and communication initiatives including website, social media, sponsorships and other sources.
Serve as point of contact for vendors and coordinate any service renewals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A high-performing HR generalist with experience in the strategic and functional areas of human resources.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills.
Able to multi-task, address changing priorities, think creatively, and meet deadlines.
Able to work independently and as part of a team to help clients maximize their potential.
Organized and punctual with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to exceeding expectations.
Excellent office-based computer skills, including Microsoft 360 and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Minimum three years of experience in human resources, business, or operations required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development or related field required.
Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Provide and be licensed to operate a car to accommodate travel. Travel needs may vary based on assignments but are anticipated to be up to 50% for meetings and errands beyond the HR Generalist’s personal office.
Perform sedentary work - exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity; standing, walking and other similar tasks requiring physical activity.
Operate from an independent office location (e.g., home-based office) with personal access to computer, printer, copier, fax, telephone and other routine office equipment, products and supplies.
